Intake Process

How Admission Works

Admission into Freedom House Sober Living follows a structured intake process designed to ensure program fit, accountability, and safety for all participants.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Step 1: Online Application

Interested individuals must complete an online application for initial screening. Applications are reviewed to determine basic eligibility and program fit.

Step 2: Phone Screening

Applicants who meet initial criteria will be contacted for a phone screening. During this call, program expectations, structure, and requirements are reviewed.

Step 3: Online Intake Packet

Applicants who are conditionally accepted will be required to complete an intake packet electronically. This packet includes program agreements, required disclosures, and verification forms.

Step 4: Program Participation Payment

After the intake packet is completed, applicants will receive instructions to submit the required program participation payment.

Admission remains conditional until all intake requirements are satisfied.

Step 5: In-Person Drug & Alcohol Screening

Prior to move-in, applicants must complete an in-person drug and alcohol screening administered by program staff. A negative screen is required for admission.

Important Information

  • Freedom house Sober Living is a MASH-compliant sober living residence and is not a treatment facility.
  • Participation is voluntary and contingent upon ongoing compliance with program rules.
  • Admission may be denied at any stage if eligibility requirements are not met.
